New Opportunities

Corporate Peer Resource Bank
In addition to it's workshops and seminars, TRS has been proud to sponsor small focus groups and round tables. One of the greatest benefits of these small venues has been the ability of one participant to ask a colleague "Hey, what are you doing about...?"

TRS has decided to provide that same service to our members each and every day. By creating a Peer Resource Bank, TRS will have the ability to draw on the vast experience and knowledge of its members, and make that knowledge work for you! The purpose of this forum is to discuss specific problems or concerns introduced by one of our members. It can be used for benchmarking or to quickly gather opinions from other local companies. This is not a forum to promote or discredit any specific service provider.

These discussions are private, and transcripts will not be distributed, although the topics addressed may be used to guide TRS in creating future seminars, focus groups and newsletter features. The names and specific comments of participants will not be released outside the discussion group.

Participating members will contribute a profile and agree to review policy questions and participate in benchmarking by other local companies. When TRS receives a question, it will circulate that request and prepare a final report based on the information it receives in return.

In a recent poll, we discovered that about half of our members have not yet positioned themselves to take advantage of the vast opportunities offered by the Internet and the World Wide Web. As a benefit to our service members, we've built a searchable database which will allow visitors to search for your company by name, service area or service type. For those companies who already have a presence on the Internet, we can link this information directly to your web site.
